Meet Dr. Richard C. Rampi
DMDDr. Richard C. Rampi was born and raised in Orlando. He graduated from Boone High School in 1978. While at Boone, he was awarded the “Distinguished Service Award” by the Kiwanis Club of North Florida, the American Legion Award, and the “Good Citizen” Award of Boone High School by the Daughters of the American Revolution. After graduating from high school, Dr. Rampi earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Central Florida. He graduated in 1982 with magna cum laude honors and was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Dr. Rampi attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Florida where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with magna cum laude honors in 1986. While at the University of Florida, Dr. Rampi was a member of the Christian Dental Society and served as a Representative for the American Student Dental Society. He was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an Honorary Dental Society.
Dr. Rampi has served the dental community in southwest Orlando since 1987. He is currently a member of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Central District Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Dr. Rampi has been happily married to his wife, Tricia, since 1985. They reside in Dr. Phillips. Dr. and Mrs. Rampi have two children. Their son, Ricky (“Dr. Rick”), graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham – College of Dentistry in 2021 and joined Venetian Pointe Dentistry that same year serving as a dentist. He is married to the former Kiara Garcia. They have two sons. Their daughter, Rachael, graduated with a master’s degree in counseling from Florida International University in 2021 and now serves as a school counselor. She resides with her husband, Patrick, in Gotha. They have three sons.
In addition to providing dental care, Dr. Rampi enjoys playing the piano, college football, water sports, winter sports, and especially enjoys spending time with his family. He is a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church.
