Richard C. Rampi, DMD, was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Boone High School in 1978. While at Boone, he was honored with the “Distinguished Service Award” by the Kiwanis Club of North Florida, the American Legion Award, and the “Good Citizen Award” by the Daughters of the American Revolution. After graduating from high school, Dr. Rampi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry at the University of Central Florida. He graduated in 1982 with magna cum laude honors and was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Dr. Rampi attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Florida where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree with magna cum laude honors in 1986. While at the University of Florida, Dr. Rampi was a member of the Christian Dental Society and a representative for the American Student Dental Society. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Rampi finds many rewards in practicing as a family and cosmetic dentist. He cherishes the camaraderie he has with his dedicated crew and has worked with some crew members for more than 25 years. He also enjoys establishing lasting, fulfilling relationships with his patients, some of which were with him from the very beginning. He does not take for granted the opportunity to guide the way for patients to achieve better oral health and a more confident smile.
Dr. Rampi enjoys using high-tech equipment and routinely seeks the continuing education needed to provide the latest that dentistry has to offer to his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Central District Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando. He is an Invisalign® Preferred Provider.
Dr. Rampi has been happily married to his wife, Trish, since 1985. They reside in Dr. Phillips. Dr. and Mrs. Rampi have two children and two grandchildren. Their son, Ricky, is currently attending the School of Dentistry at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and is due to graduate in the Class of 2021. Their daughter, Rachael, resides in Windermere with her husband, Patrick. They were blessed with the arrival of their son, Benjamin, in 2018 then again in April with another son, Nathaniel. Rachael received a master’s degree in counseling from Florida International University and is a school counselor.
In addition to providing dental care at Venetian Pointe Family Dentistry, Dr. Rampi enjoys walking, jogging, college football, water sports, winter sports, and the Orlando theme parks, and he especially enjoys spending time with his family. He is a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church.
