Dr. Palmer graduated #1 in his dental school class of 117, earned his DMD summa cum laude from the University of Louisville, and then went on to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force before joining Venetian Pointe. He's known for cosmetic work, particularly porcelain veneers and crowns, that patients consistently describe as meticulous and natural-looking.

He's also the kind of dentist who listens, explains everything, and won't recommend treatment you don't need. That combination is harder to find than it should be.

Dr. Richard A. Rampi

Dr. Rick Rampi joined the practice in 2021 after graduating from UAB School of Dentistry, but he grew up watching his father build it, which gives him a perspective on patient care that most new dentists don't have. His clinical focus is implant and reconstructive dentistry, and he's completed extensive advanced training in immediate implants, bone grafting, full arch prosthetics, and 3D digital surgical planning using CBCT imaging.

Dr. Richard C. Rampi

General & Cosmetic Dentistry · University of Florida, DMD · Founding Dentist Since 1987

Dr. Rampi founded Venetian Pointe Dentistry in 1987, the same year he graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He's an Orlando native who has spent his entire career serving the same southwest Orlando community where he grew up. Nearly four decades later, his name is still synonymous with this practice, and the reason so many families have been coming here for 20 and 30 years.

His approach was always conservative by conviction: fix what needs fixing, maintain what's healthy, and be straight with patients about both. Dr. Rampi has recently retired from practice and is thoroughly enjoying it, spending his time traveling and diving into his hobbies. The foundation he built here continues in the hands of the team he trained.
