This is a long review but worth the read as I’ve known the Rampi’s for over 30 years. Dr. Rampi senior and his practice have been my dentistry since I was around 7 years old. As a child, I was in the same Kindergarten class at Bay Meadows Elementary with his son, now Dr. Rick Rampi, and I have fond memories of Mrs. Rampi dressing up as the tooth fairy to teach our class about oral hygiene. His family and my own have been neighbors for 30+ years in the Dr. Phillips community. For 9 years I have had a slow burn root canal abscess that has been the source of random headaches and ear pain, until the source revealed its self when a purple jolly rancher took the crown off the tooth this summer. Venetian Pointe Dentistry was able to quickly book me to assess the crown, and Dr. Rick Rampi gently informed me he would not be reattaching the crown, and the whole tooth needed to come out. As a physician that has consented hundreds of patients myself, I applaud Dr. Rick for explaining in detail the risks/benefits and rare, but emergent complications that extracting my tooth in the office would entail. He happily explained how many of these he does a week, the worst that could happen, and what my options were in a worst case scenario (but reassured me these were rare and they go great) The day of the procedure I was terrified. An entire chunk of the left side of my head was being removed (upper back molar) The Venetian Pointe staff (Reina/Stacy!) didn’t miss a beat and assisted Dr. Rick in the most flawless blood draw/coagulation and painless extraction of this problem tooth. The team defined professionalism! My office surgery was 11/10 and felt amazing as that last chunk of rotting old root canal came out! I am so impressed, and grateful for the care I received at Venetian Pointe Dentistry. I love going to the dentist.Next up for myself is Invisalign!

Dr. Palmer and his assistant was very throughly informed as they were removing the old crown to be replaced with a new crown. They made sure I was comfortable, got a blanket to keep me warm and comfortable always checking to make sure I was fine. I really liked the fact that as they were doing my teeth that Dr Palmer would tell me what was done how much more and what to expect from it all. I felt very confident with this whole experience. I can't say enough about this practice--ESPECIALLY if you have young children! I knew from the phone call to schedule my 7 y/o's appt that this was going to likely be a very positive experience. I spoke with Atalie (Office Manager) to schedule my appointment, and as a mom of a very young child, I had a couple important questions: 1) Do you allow parents to be in the room with their child? 2) What will you do to help put my child at ease (because she's extremely anxious about this visit)? Atalie assured me that parents are indeed welcome back if that's what the parent feels is best. But what really impressed me was the fact that she said that first visit could either be a visit to get my daughter established as a pt, where she would just take a tour, meet the dentist and hygienist, be introduced to their "cool dentist tools," and then be on her way... OR, we could have all of the above and have it end with an x-ray & cleaning--the choice was MINE. I told her I felt the latter would be fine, as long as my daughter feels comfortable, she'd likely not have a problem. When we got there, everyone--even those we weren't directly with but maybe bumped into in the hallway--was incredibly friendly, but I don't think I can say enough about Kimberly the hygienist who did my daughter's cleaning. If you have a pediatric patient who needs a cleaning, ASK FOR KIMBERLY! She literally had my daughter giggling the ENTIRE TIME! Forget being SCARED! Haha! Dr. Palmer was great, too--very patient, gentle, didn't try to rush, and definitely didn't try to BS us into unnecessary things, esp on baby teeth. Add to that the fact that the office is very pristine CLEAN, has a homey aesthetic, and even smelled clean...and I'll say, 10/10 would highly recommend!

Not only does this office work with you when it comes to financial issues---ain't life grand---the staff are truly second to none. The associate who used the mouth camera for my mouth guard today was exceptional. I am difficult to work with because I have a high gag reflex and my tongue objects to things even if I try to relax it. It is an amazing Dental office. I am so glad, so lucky, so fortunate that I am still a patient with them after all this time. Dr. Rick, while being a highly professional Dentist is also a wonderful people person. I have been going to Dr Rampi and Dr Palmers office for over 15 years now, and when I need root canal on one of front teeth and Dr Palmer was wonderful at making feel at ease being I was very nerve about the procedure, and even though you cannot talk very well he tell you exactly what he doing to you during the procedure step by step when you going to feel pressure or any discomfort at all. Dr Palmer shows you X-ray of your tooth when he is finished and it is amazing to see the difference form the first X-ray to the last X-ray of your tooth. He has great bed side manners, and that goes very long way with me! I highly recommend Dr Palmer and his team if you looking for high quality Dentist!

I am very pleased with all the services received from this dental practice. The dentist and his dental technicians are very professional and knowledgeable. In this past month Dr Rick made a crown for me and the whole procedure went very smooth. Both the dentist and the technicians explained very well the procedure. I even received an email explaining the procedures to follow to take care of the temporary crown while the permanent crown was being made. The dental practice also uses the latest technology to take the measurements for the crown. I don’t thing anyone EVER looks forward to a dental visit. I found Venetian Pointe Dentistry over 15-years ago and I swear Dr. Rampi and his team saved me. I had gone to other dentists in the past and for years these charlatans made a lot of money by telling me I needed root canals and crowns only to find out later it was unnecessary. Your dentist has more power than you could ever imagine. I’m not a dentist so when a dentist says I have a cavity or need a root canal, I never questioned it. Hands down the best Dentist I have ever been to. Kind, compassionate and hardworking. So I had to leave work because randomly a tooth chipped away. Balled my eyes out because I’m in the middle of finding an apartment with the inflation and big dentist work isn’t financially good timing right now. They were helpful in working around the financial aspect. Also, I’m in entertainment and get judged on how I look. A few people I work with recommended Venetian Dentistry and I’m grateful they did. From walking in Sara and Rebecca were so kind and helpful. Dr. Palmer took time from his lunch break to look at my tooth and even squeezed me in on a booked day. Also, I am horrible with going to the dentist. I get panic attacks and Dr. Palmer and his nurse Maria were super helpful on calming me and helping me get through the procedure. I have been a patient of this practice for a couple of years and I have no words to describe how amazing they are! They truly raise the bar for patient care. From the moment you call to make an appointment you encounter the nicest, friendliest and most helpful staff. The office in itself and the atmosphere are beautiful and inviting. I used to dread going to the dentist (due to a really bad past experience from where I developed an intense gag reflex) to the point of requesting nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for even a minor procedure. Thank God I found Venetian Point. Dr. Richard Rampi is not only an outstanding dentist and a master at his craft but also the kindest, most honest, compassionate human being I have met in the longest time. He truly, TRULY cares for his patients and he shows it in every possible way. I just had a dental emergency that would have sent me into a panic in the past but I knew that with Dr. Rampi everything would be fine, He took care of it right away, he explained step by step what he was doing and before I even knew what was happening he was done. No pain, no gag reflex, no stress, no need for nitrous oxide. Problem solved in about an hour! I also have to mention my favorite dental hygienist of all times, Katina Markham, thanks to her I found Dr. Rampi. Thanks to Katina, I totally overcame my fear of dental cleanings and got over my gag reflex. She is a true professional, very thorough in her work but also so gentle, patient and fun. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Rampi, Katina and all the wonderful staff at that practice. Thanks to them my dread of going to the dentist is a thing of the past. I highly recommend this place.

Once I started coming to this practice, I couldn't go anywhere else. Everyone is kind and honest. It's the opposite of the stereotypical "scary" visit to the dentist. On our latest visit, Dr. Palmer was able to get all our work done in a single morning. I also can't forget Shay. She put so much time and effort into explaining to my child what each part of the procedure would be like. She even showed the instruments and explained why they would not hurt. It was absolutely amazing. One final note: Dr. Rampi has been my dentist for 34 years. I refer everyone here because I want my friends to have the same great experiences I've had. First off, let me start by saying that going there was one of the best decisions I've made in my adult life considering i haven't been to a dentist in maybe 8-9 years (terrible), so the fear and anxiety was already there. However, EVERYONE on the staff provided the best best possible service that anyone could possibly imagine. Special thanks to Dr. Richard A Rampi and Dr. Palmer for the amazing work they have provided with more work coming ahead. I've actually recommended friends and family. Also, all of this couldn't have been accomplished without the help of the ENTIRE staff from Ms. Laura, Heyam, Gabby, Sara, and everyone in between (im sorry if i missed anyone). That being said, if ANYONE is nervous or on the ropes because of a bad experience from a different office, check them out. I'm a verified dentist scaredy-cat, which is why I hadn't been to a regular dentist in 15 years. It was that long ago when I met Dr. Rampi and his incredible staff, and they were able to give me a new smile, a clean mouth and a confidence that coming back to maintain would be the continued welcoming and comfortable experience I was living, and so I did. Then I moved away, had a couple of experiences that were nowhere near the bar this office had set, moved back and here I am 15 years later. They work with whatever your needs are, they don't rip you off, they are honest and truly decent people. Dr. RAMPI is the best dentist I have ever met! Not just a Dentist, but a human being! I am petrified of going to the dentist, but he has cured me of that terrible fear! And I’m no Spring Chicken! He is so caring, compassionate and gentle! I had a tooth that was not too good, loaded with fillings and my last dentist said it would have to be pulled if it acted up. I babied that tooth, because I was so scared it would need attention one day. Dr RAMPI saved the tooth, saved me from pain and cured me of my fears. I never felt the slightest twinge of pain!!! I have been constantly been blown away by how accommodating this practice is. They have worked with me to get me in when I thought I had an emergency. They have been patient with me when getting any work done, even just a simple cleaning. The office staff is always bright and cheery and the office itself is clean,warm and inviting. Just today, there was a simple misunderstanding which I do believe was my fault. But they squeezed me in and my original 30 minute appointment turned into an hour and half. Let me begin by saying I hate dentists with the exception of Dr. Palmer and Dr Rampi. I drive a ways to come see them and wouldn’t change dentists for anything. I have a great fear of needles and Dr Rampi and Dr. Palmer know this. They cater to cowards which I am one. I go to them every three months because my mother suffered from gum disease and lost her teeth in her 30s. Kimberly has always been like family and every time any of my family members goes to the dentist we always tell each other “say hi to Kimberly for me!” Or we will call each other on our way home from the dentist to check how Kimberly was doing. She even posed for a picture the last time I was there where she was blowing kisses so I could send the picture to my brother who now lives in California...but has been known to schedule an appointment with her when he comes to visit us in Florida. If you avoid dentists, are uncomfortable with the situation dentists put you in, go see Dr Rampi and his staff. With his state of the art equipment, and considerate staff you may even look forward to your dental visit. Dr. Rampi has been my dentist since the early 1990s when my family moved to Orlando. Up north, I used to get so worked up sitting in the dental chair, that I would slide down the chair because of all my perspiration. Over time, Dr Rampi and his staff were so kind and gentle that I no longer got all worked up. Later, when I moved out of the area, I couldn't find a dentist who made me comfortable and I began wrapping visits to Florida around my dental appointments. In fact, a few times I flew to Florida in the morning for my appointment and then grabbed a late flight back home. Now, I live at the beach and drive the 50 miles to have Kimberly clean my teeth and Dr Rampi check for problem signs. My comments wouldn't be complete if I didn't recognize Janice. I would not trust any other dentist besides Dr. Rampi. He has been a great dentist and friend. I have had implants, crowns, and caps. I have and will recommended him to all my friends and family.

My daughter and I have been "regulars" at Venetian Pointe Dentistry for the past 27 years. Although I have recently moved out of the Orlando area, I have no plans to change my dental providers. Their office environment is comfortable and patient friendly. Even in unplanned emergency visits, I have had only a positive experience. From Janice at the front desk with a warm welcome greeting, to Dr. Rampi's and Dr. Palmer's flawless quality service, to Kimberly, my all time favorite hygienist, this team is the BEST!

Re: Kimberly Klein-McMahon Ask anyone. Having one's teeth cleaned is anything but a memorable experience. But having Kimberly as your dental hygienist changes all that. Of course she's very good at cleaning your teeth. But she's more than just that. She's also personable, engaging and above all, caring of her patients. Absolutely 5 stars for Venetian Pointe Dentistry! My hygienist Kimberly is the best hygienist I've ever had. I actually drive from Daytona area because I completely trust Dr. Rampi and Kimberly. For anyone who is afraid of the dentist, I definitely recommend they go to Venetian Pointe. The staff takes care to be supportive and gentle with patients who are nervous! When my daughter is old enough, I will absolutely be taking her to see Kimberly and the VP staff!

I was so happy to find Venetian Pointe Dentistry a year after we moved to Orlando. I originally went to a dentist that only had interest in performing as many procedures as my insurance would allow - needed or not! I luckily escaped from him and found Dr Rampi who is completely honest and told me my teeth were totally healthy (not cracked as previous dentist told me) and I didn’t need 5 crowns!! 13 years later - still no crowns - and my family of 5 loves everyone at VPD from Janice to Janie, Laura, Lona, Michelle, Kimberly, Dr’s Rampi and Palmer and everyone in-between - couldn’t be happier.

My husband and I have been going to Venetian Dentistry for the last ten years. Everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the hygienists to Dr. Rampi and Dr Palmer are amazing. We always feel welcomed and know that we will receive the best care. We have always been pleased with the care we receive. I went through 3 dental implants working with Dr Rampi and he always explained what had to be done and was very gentle and caring throughout the whole process. First of all, I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff at Venetian Pointe Denistry. I am truly blessed to have found such a great Dentist (Dr. Palmer). I was extremely apprehensive about going to the dentist. Dr. Palmer and Dental Assistant Alexis have been very calming and very friendly from my very first visit and throughout multiple visits recently. I have felt super comfortable and relaxed the whole entire time. Dr Palmer explains everything before he does the procedure and keeps checking on me throughout the procedure to make sure I'm doing okay. The Front Desk team, Hygienists and everyone has been wonderful as well. I highly recommend Venetian Pointe Denistry to everyone especially to those patients who are like me who are apprehensive about going to the dentist!! Dr. Palmer and his team have completely turned my fear around! I am truly grateful!! Looking forward to my next visit!!

Had a crown break while on vacation in Orlando (the night we got into town before the parks even began). I called every "emergency" dental number listed and Dr. Palmer was the only dentist to talk to me because I was a new patient. I didnt get an answering service, I actually spoke to someone. He answered my questions (after 8pm) and made me feel comfortable enough to make the drive the next day. His office is inviting and his staff made me feel like an actual client, not someone just passing through. If I didnt love my Jacksonville dentist, I would travel just to see this crew. Totally impressed. THANK YOU for saving my tooth and our vacation 💜

I honestly can't say enough incredible things about this place. I truly look forward to my dentist visits. I have been seeing Dr. Rampi and his staff for over 20 years. And even though work has caused me to move all over the country, I've continued to fly back to see him because he and his staff are so incredibly kind and welcoming. Came here for the first time the other day. Just moved to the area and hadn't had my teeth cleaned in a few years. I was brought back right on time and seen by Dr Palmer who was great. I was on a tight schedule to get to work and he spoke to the staff to make sure I made it on time. Everyone was friendly. Dr Palmer especially was cool. My wife came on a different day and also saw Dr Palmer for the first time for some crown work. She loved him. Two thumbs up I'll be sending friends this way.
