Dr. Richard C. Rampi

Dr. Richard C. Rampi is an Orlando native who has spent his entire career serving the community where he grew up. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, then went on to earn his DMD from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1986 — again graduating magna cum laude and earning membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.

He opened Venetian Pointe Dentistry on Turkey Lake Road in 1987, and he's been there ever since. Over the past 38 years, he's treated patients from across southwest Orlando — patients who came to him in their 30s and are now in their 60s and 70s, patients whose children now bring their own children, and patients who've moved away from Orlando and still make the trip back because they won't go anywhere else.

His philosophy has never changed: fix what needs fixing, maintain what's healthy, and be honest with patients about both. No upselling. No unnecessary treatment. Just good, conservative general and cosmetic dentistry from someone who genuinely cares about the people in his chair.

Outside the office, Dr. Rampi is a dedicated family man. He and his wife Tricia have been married since 1985. His son, Dr. Rick A. Rampi, now practices alongside him at Venetian Pointe. He's a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church, an Orlando native who still loves college football and water sports, and someone who — by all accounts — is exactly the same person in the office as he is outside of it.
